'Illegal Fuel Dealers Flood Beitbridge'
A ZBC News report claims that Beitbridge border town has been inundated by illegal fuel dealers.
The dealers reside in Dulibadzimu suburb and store the fuel indoors, putting lives and property in danger due to the high risk of fire.
The fuel is imported from neighbouring South Africa where well-known business-people buy the product in bulk and employ youths as their runners who in turn receive 40 Rands per day.
One of the youths involved in the illicit fuel dealers who spoke to ZBC News said:
We are surviving on this fuel trade and we know it is illegal but we continue because we need to earn a living. Police are also harassing us because itโs illegal.

We are also aware that it is a risky business which can destroy houses in case of fire but we have no choice. said one of the youths.
