Mugabe's Body To Be Taken To Zvimba
Former President Robert Mugabe’s body will on Sunday be taken to Zvimba, his home area to afford his people the opportunity to bid him farewell.
This was revealed by the late national hero’s nephew, Leo Mugabe, who is also the Mugabe family representative. He said:
The family programme from now on is that tomorrow (Sunday) we will go to Zvimba, Murombedzi.
FeedbackThen to the homestead; and we will give the Zvimba and Mashonaland West people the opportunity to bid their farewell.
Thereafter we will take the body, on Monday or Tuesday, back (to Harare) and take it to the mortuary for preservation for roughly 30 days until the Heroes Acre is ready.

Leo refuted claims that the National Heroes Acre burial would be a mock ceremony. He said it is normal the world over to have founding Presidents of nations having mausoleums, and cited Russia’s Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, better known as Lenin as having been buried in a mausoleum.
