Prisoner Being Haunted By The Murder He Committed 21 Years Ago On A Daily Basis
An inmate who is incarcerated for murdering his friend over a girl since 1998 has said he is still being tormented by what transpired that day and he believes avenging spirits popularily known as Ngozi/Ingozi are tormenting him, Sunday Mail reports.
Joram Siwela, a former Chaplain High school student and a former professional football player narrates how he has violent nightmares and how other inmates tell him how he screams and violently throw punches while asleep.
Joram feels something should be done to appease the spirit of his friend who he struck in hot blood and handed himself over to the police after the incident in 1998. However, his father spoke to the publication and told them the problem they are facing in trying to appease the deceased’s spirit.
According to Joram’s father:
Barely three months after Joram’s incident, a lot happened in the victim’s family, thereby complicating everything. The victim’s father and sibling were also murdered.

Another uncle, whom they lived with, vanished without a trace. Since then, we have failed to locate any other relatives.
I feel that knowing all this will be too much of a burden for Joram, which is why I have never been able to tell him
Siwela is serving a life sentence at Harare Maximum Prison.
