9 Roads Renamed After President ED Mnangagwa

The Zimbabwean government has renamed some roads in the country, a development which saw nine roads being renamed after the country’s incumbent president, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa.

Notable among the changes is the renaming of Enterprise Road in Harare to Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa Road. Besides Enterprise Road being named after President Mnangagwa, roads in other towns now bear the name of the Head of State and Government. See below.

  • 6th Avenue in Bulawayo,
  • A5 Road in Kwekwe,
  • Main Street in Gweru,
  • Chipinge Main Street,
  • Etherton Road in Bindura,
  • Edgar Peacock Road in Mutare,
  • Henry Hartley Road in Chegutu
  • Hughes Street in Masvingo.

Some analysts are saying that the late former Minister of Home Affairs, Dumiso Dabengwa should not have missed out.
