'We Lost The Game In The First 15 Minutes' - Mapeza
Chippa United coach Norman Mapeza said the match against Orlando Pirates was lost in the first 15 minutes.
Mapeza however, believes that his charges’ performance in the second half was far much better and with luck, the Chilli Boys could have snatched a point. He said:
… we lost the game in the first 15 minutes, you know it’s difficult because we just had to manage the game but well done to the boys. There are so many positives.
FeedbackI think second-half we kept pushing, looking for that equaliser which didn’t come. We’ve got somewhere to work, somewhere to start coming to our next league match.
A first-half double from Frank Mhango saw Orlando Pirates defeat Chippa United 2-1 in Port Elizabeth on Saturday evening to move into the top three of the Absa Premiership.
