Bodies Of 2 Missing Law Enforcement Agents Who Drowned In Kariba Recovered
The bodies of 2 missing law enforcement agents who drowned after the boat they were travelling in capsized in Kariba last week were retrieved from the Lake, The Herald reports.
The bodies recoveries were confirmed by assistant Paul Nyathi who said:
The body of Kudzanai Dewa was retrieved on Wednesday and that of Charles Kahara was found on Thursday.
FeedbackWe are treating this case as an accident and investigations are still in progress. We are advising those who travel with boats to travel during the day and ensure safety at all times.
Charles Kahara who was employed by ZPCS drowned as he was trying to save Kudzanai Dewa who was a police officer. Both of them were stationed in Kariba and their bodies were recovered between Kariba Lake Harvest and Nyaodza Fish Camp.
