UN Zimbabwe Has Provided Zimbabwe With A $770Million Humanitarian Plan

Zimbabwe’s Minister of Sports, Kirsty Coventry has said that United Nations Zimbabwe have provided Zimbabwe with a $770 million humanitarian response plan.

She made the announcement via her twitter handle this Thursday. She said:

UN Zimbabwe have provided Zimbabwe with a $770 million humanitarian response plan. Thank you for @UNZimbabwe🙏

Zimbabwe has an acute economic and humanitarian crisis due to the effects of drought and economic deterioration.

Millions of Zimbabweans are facing severe starvation and things might get worse due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic which threatens the supply of grain.
