Nicaraguan Football Federation General Secretary Jose Maria Bermudez told the AS newspaper on April 6 that European TV stations had asked to televise their football games. Games in the Central American nation are being played behind closed doors but are being broadcast locally on television or live on Facebook
FeedbackBelarus is the only country in Europe still playing football amid the coronavirus pandemic but a growing number of fans are boycotting league matches, anxious about catching the disease.
COVID-19 has killed close to 150 000 people and infected over 2 million people worldwide and has this has resulted in public gatherings and sporting activities being banned and or postponed for the foreseeable future.
