Parly To Hold Inaugural Virtual Sitting Today
Parliament of Zimbabwe will hold its first virtual sitting today, The Herald reports. Some legislators will be in the chambers while some will join the session from other rooms.
This was announced by the speaker of the parliament Jacob Mudenda at HICC where the legislators had congregated for a sitting in order to observe social distancing measures:
The Clerk of Parliament is making the necessary arrangement so that from next week all committees will be functional and that Parliament as a whole will be functional.

According to the publication, the reconvening of parly is expected to signal the start to holding of public consultations for the Constitutional Amendment Bill.
