Kariba's Caribbea Bay Resort Reopens, Offers 50% Discount For All August 2020 Bookings
Kariba’s Caribbea Bay Resort has officially opened its doors to the public following the government’s decision to open up the tourism industry to allow players to operate and save them from a massive recession, Gemnation reports.
The resort reportedly opened its doors on 1 August 2020 and it is offering a 50% discount for all August 2020 bookings. African Sun Hotels and Resorts which run the resort also refurbished 41 rooms at the resort using the veil provided by the lockdown to do the refurbishment.
According for Germination:
An amazing special of up to 50% discount on accommodation is being extended to all guests booking in the month of August as well as a pay for 2 and stay for 3 special applicable to the Campsites. This well-appointed resort offers a total of 83 rooms, 41 of which have been upgraded.
Room types are varied to suit all guest types ranging from executive suites, deluxe suites, family rooms, standard rooms as well as paraplegic rooms to cater for the disabled. This stunning resort has extensive conference facilities and also offers fun filled activities with the Supa tube being the major drive for all family getaways.
For an unforgettable camping experience, the resort has introduced a new product known as “Glamping” (glamorous camping), an exercise reportedly understood to be the transformation of standard campsites into high end ones with a luxurious feel.
The tourism industry was one of the industries that was hit the hardest by the pandemic which prohibited inter-city travelling among other containment measures that grounded operations for many operators countrywide.
