Warriors Super-Fan Alvin Zhakata Attacked, Hospitalised
Warriors die-hard supporter and 2019 Total AFCON final superfan, Alvin ‘Aluvah’ Zhakata, is recovering in hospital after being attacked in Chitungwiza yesterday.
Steve Vickers, Star FM’s head of sport, tweeted this Sunday suggesting that suspected thieves attacked the Warriors fan. Vickers posted:
Legendary Warriors fan Alvin ‘Aluvah’ Zhakata is recovering in hospital after being attacked in Chitungwiza yesterday. Has 3 broken ribs and collapsed lung, in stable condition at Pari Hospital, had a chest drain.

He, unfortunately, arrived when the Warriors he had travelled to support had already been eliminated from the tournament.
