Police Commissioner Adolf Moyo Dies 3 Days After Retiring From ZRP
Retired former Police Commissioner Adolf Moyo has died, Newsday reports. Moyo’s death was announced by Police General Godwin Matanga who said Matanga died at Westend Clinic on 11 December.
According to ZRP National Spokesperson Moyo died 3 days after his he retired from the police force on December 8. No further details about Moyo’s death or funeral arrangements were shared by the ZRP.
Meanwhile, ZRP using their official Twitter handle urged parents to closely monitor their children as it listed cases of drowning that have occurred over the last few days:
The ZRP reiterates its call for parents and guardians to closely monitor their children, especially during this rainy season. On 10/12/20, in Nyatsime, Chitungwiza, a 2 year old girl drowned in an open septic tank after she was left playing alone in the yard.
In Bulawayo, on 11/12/20 a 12 year boy went for swimming at Cement Dam, Fairbridge in the company of his friends. He subsequently drowned after failing to swim.
