Coronavirus Rules Jesus & Walker Out Of Man City Christmas Fixtures
Manchester City has confirmed that two of its players and two members of staff have tested positive for COVID-19.
Kyle Walker and Gabriel Jesus, as well as two unnamed members of staff, have returned positive tests, and all four will now self-isolate for at least ten days.
The development rules Walker and Jesus out for the Christmas fixtures against Newcastle, Everton and likely the trip to Chelsea in the new year. The club said in a statement:
Manchester City FC can confirm that Gabriel Jesus, Kyle Walker, and two members of staff have tested positive for COVID-19.
All four personnel will now observe a period of self-isolation in accordance with Premier League and UK Government protocol on quarantine.
