Members of the public are urged to take the Covid-19 pandemic seriously and follow proper procedures in obtaining screening certificates as shortcuts may put their lives and those of others at risk.
On 04/01/21 Police in Harare arrested 2 suspects who were issuing fake Covd-19 certificates to inter-country travellers. Investigations are in progress. #notocrime
FeedbackThis comes amid reports that similar incidences occurred in Nigeria during the festive season. Intercountry travellers need a COVID-19 free certificate to go to other African countries.
COVID-19 testing ranges between 55 and 90 at different medical facilities and laboratories across the country which is beyond the reach of some holidaymakers, returning residents, and visitors hence the decision by those people to cut corners.
