Zimbabwe Records 47 COVID-19 Deaths In 24 Hours
Zimbabwe yesterday recorded 47 COVID-19 deaths. This was revealed by the Ministry of Health in a statement that stated that Mashonaland West recorded the highest number of deaths yesterday while Harare recorded 10 deaths Manicaland 7 Deaths and Mashonaland East 5. The cumulative number of deaths since the onset of the pandemic does not stand at 636.
The report also stated that Harare recorded 467 cases in 24 hours and it was followed by Manicaland which recorded 183 cases while Mashonaland East recorded 117 cases, and Mashonaland Central recorded 110 cases.
The statistics come at a time Zimbabwe is reeling from the COVID-19 second wave and recorded the highest number of deaths on 14 January since the onset of the virus on 20 March 2021.
