Tino Kadewere Donates To Harare City Frontline Workers
Tino Kadewere has donated to Harare City Council COVID-19 frontline workers, New Zimbabwe reports. The Olympique Lyon star made the generous donation to the City Father on Wednesday and the donation comprised of foodstuffs that could be that he gave the City of Harare’s Emergency Services department.
Tino Kadeweres’ donation was handed over to the City Fathers by the chairman of the Tino Kadewere Foundation Prosper Kadewere who during the handover ceremony said:
We took part in this initiative due to the fact that Tino was once part of Harare City and the club is under council, so we are trying to work with all departments so that we help where there is need.
FeedbackFor instance, we came across front line workers conducting Covid-19 tests this other day and we just decided to help them with a few food items in this difficult time.
Meanwhile, according to a Harare MP Allan Markham, over 100 Harare City Council Nurses have resigned as they protest nonpayment of their COVID-19 allowances by the government, The resignations have reportedly crippled the city’s council clinics.
