ZETDC Power Interruption Alert: Tuesday 19 October 2021
ZESA Holdings’ electricity transmission unit, ZETDC, has advised its customers in the Harare Region that there would be a power supply interruption on Tuesday 19 October 2021 as it will be carrying out critical maintenance works.
In a notice issued this Monday, ZETDC said electricity will be unavailable from 8 AM to 5 PM in the listed areas but customers have been advised to treat all circuits as LIVE during this period as power may be restored without notice. ZETDC said:
NOTICE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS
The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) would like to advise its valued customers in Harare Region that there would be a power supply interruption on Tuesday 19 October 2021 from 0800 hours to 1700 hours for the purpose of carrying out critical maintenance works.
Affected areas are Tynwald South, Kuwadzana phase 3, New Marimba & IDBZ, Mufakose, Mhishi, areas around Rovambira, Mufakose extension, Mutsonzowa, Mupani, Mutiti, Mutsubvu and areas around Gwenyambira shops.
Customers are advised to treat all circuits as LIVE during this period as power may be restored without notice.
The inconvenience caused is sincerely regretted.
