Ziyambi Hails Magaya's School Building Initiative

Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Ziyambi Ziyambi, on Saturday extolled Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries founder, Walter Magaya for complementing Government efforts in rebuilding the education sector.

Ziyambi made the remarks following Magaya’s announcement at his 38th birthday dinner that PHD has started constructing a school under “The Heart Group of Schools” along Beatrice Road. Said Ziyambi:

We would like to thank Prophet Magaya for complementing Government efforts in nation rebuilding under the education sector.

… Introduction of Education 5.0 is now a reality having been adopted by the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development.

It is now demanded of the nation’s higher and tertiary education sector to not only teach, research and community service but innovate and industrialise the nation.

Prophet Magaya is commended for coming on board in problem-solving for value creation.

Magaya said he drew inspiration from mainline denominations such as the Roman Catholic Church, Anglican and Methodist, among others that have built schools across the country. He said:

As PHD ministries we have acquired a place along Masvingo Road and construction of a school has started.

I have been inspired by other churches like Catholics, Anglicans, Methodists and other church leaders like Apostle Guti in building a university.

The Heart Group of Schools aims to provide space for the gifted child struggling to find space in a conventional education setup.

Its entry point is to discover a student’s heart desire and nurture the passion and gift in a technologically advanced environment where the teacher is simply a guide or a facilitator.

He said structures are being built to match international standards.

Among the guests were Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Service Deputy Minister Kindness Paradza, Permanent Secretary Nick Mangwana and United Nations consultant and regional director Gabriel Rasebotsa of Global Economic Forum based in South Africa.
