News:Police arrest 71 people over Beitbridge border post violence

<vote /> Seventy one suspects were arrested on Friday for demonstrations that resulted in the burning of a Zimbabwe Revenue Authority warehouse. The group is part of a mob of seventy one people arrested on similar charges while protesting the implementation of Statutory Instrument 64 of 2016.

They were asked not to plead to the charges of public violence when appeared before Beitbridge resident magistrate on Sunday. The suspects were remanded in custody to tomorrow. They were represented by Mr Mutimba on behalf of the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights.
