News:Tajamuka Activist Found Tortured After Being Abducted
<vote /> In what is believed to be a case of political abduction, actor/activist Silvanos Mudzvova was found tortured at Nharira Hills.
A message circulated on social media believed to be from Mudzvova's wife. In the message the person said that Mudzvova who is affiliated with Tajamuka/Sesjikile Campaign was abducted by 6 armed men at gunpoint at his home,
ALERT!! TAJAMUKA SPOKESPERSON SILVANOS MUDZVOVA ABDUCTED. Six unidentified men ambushed Silvanos Mudzvova's home in Harare at around 11 pm on the 13th of September . The unidentified men held his family at gunpoint until they abducted him upon arrival at the homestead. No one could identify the vehicle that these abductors were using. We appeal to those with information as to his current whereabouts to come forth and help us locate him. We condemn in the strongest terms the abductions and arbitrary arrests of citizens by the State on frivolous and trumped up charges. We demand to know the whereabouts of Tajamuka spokesperson Silvanos Mudzvova.
Mudzvova is an actor with Yadzoka Zimbabwe and he staged a one-man play interrogating Robert Mugabe’s statement that about $15 billion raised from diamond sales was missing.
The 30-minute play Missing Diamonds, I Need My Share landed Mudzvova in trouble after he staged it at Parliament building on April 13.
