News:Zanu PF reportedly expels War Veterans' chairman for indiscipline

<vote /> Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans’ Association chairman, Christopher Mutsvangwa and 13 former youth leaders have been expelled from Zanu-PF on charges of indiscipline.

Zanu PF secretary for administration, Ignatius Chombo, said the politburo had expelled a top party official, but declined to name him, saying the individual had not yet been informed.

Chombo also said that Zanu Pf was also aware that the protests in Beitbridge were sponsored by the MDC-T,

"The party has it on good authority that violent demonstrations witnessed in Beitbridge were sponsored by some MDC-T elements and other opposition parties in protesting against Statutory Instrument 64 of 2016"

He also said that state security organisations were making investigations and arrests would soon be made.
