Njabulo Moyo is a Zimbabwean motivational speaker and author.
Background
He was born and bred in the high density suburb of Mzilikazi.[1]
Career
He published his first book African Sketches in 2012 and the second one Sketches From My Soul in 2013.[1] He has managed to deliver motivational speeches at different platforms in Sweden, Denmark and Lebanon. Moyo became one of the youngest speakers to motivate leaders in the corporate world after he gave a speech at a function organised by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). In 2016 he was nominated for a global leadership programme in the United States. The programme is supported by the US Department of State and implemented by the International Research and Exchange Board.[2] In 2015 he published his book Motivating the Inner Soul. In June 2014 he was appointed the African Young Writers Association (AYWA) director for Zimbabwe. AYWA is a youth organisation based in the Ghanaian capital, Accra.[3] He is a project officer for National Youth Development Trust in Bulawayo and rural Matabeleland.[4]
He was featured as a performing poet in the Action Youth “Listen to Youth Project 2010” DVD compilation, which was done by Jermaine Ndlovu under the British Councils Global Change Makers. He has participated in the Premier Festival of Intwasa as a performance poet since 2009 under the British Councils Echoes of Young Voices youth group. He was a finalist in the Power in the Voice 2006 High Schools competition where he competed with the young talent of Bulawayo.[5]
