Oliver Kateya

Oliver Kateya was a Zimbabwean footballer who played for Dynamos Football Club. He was part of the first players to form the Zimbabwe national football team after independence with the likes of David Mandigora.

Background

Oliver Kateya was born on 15 March 1954. He was married to Ann and one of his children was Bethel. He had a brother named Shadreck.

Career

He was part of the 1972 Metal Box team before joining Dynamos Football Club with the likes of Sunday Chidzambwa.[1]
