Philip Mutoti is a Zimbabwean politician and a member of the MDC-T. He is the current mayor of Chitungiza and has been involved in a number of corruption scandals over the years.
Personal Life
He divorced Alice Kuvheya after she accused him of being unfaithful and violent.[1]

Mutoti's ex-wife accused him of bedding 15 women and infecting wife with HIV. She also reported cases of rape and domestic violence at St Mary’s Police Station against Mutoti.
The police and his wife were locked out-as they moved in to arrest him and collect her belongings at their St Mary’s home. Mutoti also hit the headlines for snatching a married woman in May 2015 and subsequent wreckage of the marriage. Speaking to a daily tabloid Mutoti's former wife said:
I am tired of him; after he infected me anga ava kundiudza kuti ndiri kumusemesa. He can have up to 15 girlfriends and gives them US$100 as payment. In order to manage the whole night having sex, he buys the Blue Diamond Pill. He raped me in 2013 which is when he infected me and as soon as I fell sick akanditi kana usiri kunwa mapiritsi, watoparara. He brings his girlfriends home including the one who was published to be having an affair with him. Philip is of a violent nature, he can send bouncers to beat up someone if they do not get along.
The ex-wife also filed a domestic violence case which was dismissed by Chitungwiza provincial magistrate Rekina Dzikiti for lack of evidence. Allegations against Mutoti were that on March 14 2015 he had a misunderstanding with Kuvheya after accusing her of stealing $50 from their matrimonial home. Mutoti stormed out of the house and headed towards the gate with Kuvheya in hot pursuit. Mutoti then turned back and charged towards her.
He allegedly dragged her into the house slapped, punched, kicked and choked her before their security guard, only identified as Mutambirwa, intervened to save her. Kuvheya said she sustained injuries on her chest and ribs and consulted a doctor a day later. She then made a police report in July, after Mutoti allegedly continued threatening to kill her. [2]
In September 2015, Mutoti reported his wife to the police for stealing a laptop that council had bought for him and for refusing to surrender the Mayoress chain she had received when they were customarily married. He also said Kuvheya had violated a reciprocal peace order. [3]
