Sam Mutenheri is a former Zimbabwean footballer who was born on 22 December 1979. Sam Mutenheri during his footballing days played for Dynamos Football Club, Motor Action FC, Black Mambas FC and Lancashire Steel FC.

Mutenheri attended Manunure High School for his secondary education.

Career

Mutenheri played for the Kwekwe based Lancashire Steel FC from the juniors until he broke into the first team before he joined Dynamos in 2007. In one of the games he might want to quickly forget Sam where he had a torrid time containing Machapa and marked the end of his Dynamos career in 2009 he thought of hanging up the boots before he was signed by Motor Action in 2010 and helped them win their only league title.[1]. After leaving Motor Action he joined Black Mambas in 2012 and captained the side but failed to lead them out of relegation. He was part of the Dynamos team that reached the 2008 CAF Champions League semi final which they lost 5-0 on aggregate to Cameroonian side Coton Sport.
