Trapkal D was born Meredith Makondo on 26 May 1995 And grew up in Chikombedzi , Chiredzi . He did his primary education at Gurungweni P School and his secondary education at Alpha Mpapa High School.
He discovered that he had a talent for music on 2013 when he was part of the church choir .
Little known by then Trapkal D announced his grand entry in the music entry on September 2014 with his song Technology . The song went viral in the ghettos through it he didi not receive any airplay on local radio stations .
When he released Clush na officer he received his first airplay on Star Fm .
