Elphas Mashamba
Elphas Mashamba is a Zimbabwe based guitarist and Prolific Trumpter. Born on 25 January 1995 at a Rural District Called Zaka, Jerera in Masvingo District. He became popular by his Unique Styles of playing guitar as well as Trumpet.He is currently studying his degree in Bandmasters at Zimbabwe College of Music.He has helped so many Zimbabwean Artist by putting his stounding melodies of his guitar on their music. He has one album of his own. Elphas Mashamba is inspired by Artist like Jah Prayzah, Oliver Mutukudzi, Alick Macheso and Thomas Mapfumo. Elphas Mashamba is a employed at Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services (Z.P.C.S) since 14 October 2013. He is currently working there as a junior Officer stationed at Ntabazinduna Prison Training Depot which is located alongside Gweru-Bulawayo road, i.e 40km away from Bulawayo. Elphas Mashamba is a member of Zimbabwe Prison Band and he plays Lead and Rhythm guitars as well as trumpet for the Service. Elphas Mashamba is again a member of the greatest church in Zimbabwe, Zion Christian Church. He was groomed to play trumpet by the church since 09 January 2013. He recorded one Album with the Z.C.C Defe Dopota Brass Band called "Makore Zana". Elphas Mashamba is a God fearing musician.
