Business Management Unit Advisor/Manager

Job Description

Mutirikwi Poultry Cooperative Company t/a Golden Poultry Association seeks to recruit an individuals with requisite skills and experience to support, lead and manage its company to the success of both company and its members. She /He will be responsible for the following:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure products and services offered by the Association are always available for the members
• Maintain good professional relationship with suppliers
• Responsible for coordination and implementation of field level activities designed to enhance and strengthen the Poultry Business Association and its financial position
• Manage all office administration activities
• Responsible for direct coordination of poultry business unit activities at the district and ward level according to producer needs.
• Manage logistical arrangements with poultry hubs and producers for collective action.
• Keep accurate records, register and profile all participating households of poultry producers feeding to the poultry hub
• Participate in the collection of quantitative and qualitative data for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
• Generate weekly and monthly progress reports to be presented to the management committee for the enhancement of the Poultry business.
• Carry out any other relevant work as assigned by the Management Committee.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least a Degree in Agriculture Economics, Agribusiness or any other relevant field from a recognized college/university.
• At least two years of working experience with community-oriented projects.
• Demonstrate a reasonable understanding of the poultry sector of Zimbabwe.
• Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
