Zanu PF MP accused of interfering with the day-to-day operations of David Whitehead
Zanu PF MP for Chegutu West, Dexter Nduna, is being accused of interfering with the day to day running of David Whitehead Textiles Limited (DWTL).
Nduna is being accused of influencing some employees of DWTL to cause unnecessary litigation; pushing for the removal of the judicial manager; hounding the company’s debtors and agitating for the acquisition of the textile company through a debt-equity conversion.
Knowledge Hofisi, the managing director of Aurifin Capital, who is the judicial manager of the company, wrote to the Commander of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF), who is their major customer, Constantino Chiwenga, expressing displeasure over Nduna’s interference.
Contacted by The Financial Gazette for comment yesterday, Nduna said the accusations were misguided.
