Dynamos dismiss Prince Edward meeting
Dynamos‘ leadership has dismissed a meeting being organised by the club’s former sons Ernest Kamba and Eric Aisam, at Prince Edward next week, as yet another attempt to wrestle power from the current leadership. The Kamba faction have been advertising a notice of an extraordinary meeting where, among the items on the agenda, they are looking at appointing a new board of directors as well as external auditors.
Speaking to The Herald, Dynamos board of directors chairman Bernard Marriot yesterday said that the meeting was a malicious attempt to cause confusion and factions in the club. He also said that the club was reviewing the just ended Premiership season and was mapping a way forward to ensure that the club returns to its former glory.
The club’s legal adviser Herbert Mutasa said that whatever would be decided at the meeting will not be legally binding to the club.
