Pasuwa to submit Warriors squad for AFCON 2017, without assessing all the players

Warriors Coach Callisto Pasuwa has to submit his final squad for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations by midnight tomorrow.  However, the coach is due to arrive from Ivory Coast tomorrow where the Warriors played a friendly match.  This means that the coach will not get a chance to assess some of the foreign based players.  Some of these players only checked into training camp last night.

In the event of failing to meet the deadline, the WWarriors face a substantial fine and their player allocation will be reduced by one from 23 to 22.n
