Potraz Says Telecommunications Companies Should Not Focus On Cities Only At The Expense Of Rural Areas
The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) has said that it will order mobile network operators, Econet, NetOne and Telecel to connect the people in Maranda, Mwenezi, who have limited access to communication channels. Potraz said that the telecommunications companies should not focus on the big cities while marginalising the rural communities. Phibeon Chaibva, an official with Potraz told Daily News,
