Warriors Draw 1-1 With DRC

The Warriors drew 1-1 with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) during a 2019 Afcon Qualifiers, Group G encounter at the National Sports Stadium.

Khama Billiat put Zimbabwe ahead, connecting Talent Chawapiwa’s cross in the first minute. DRC equalised through Teenage Hadebe’s own goal, after the Kaizer Chief’s defender failed to properly clear Mpeko’s cross.

Zimbabwe are top of Group G with 8 points.
