Mnangagwa Told Chiwenga Must Be Given Time To Recover

Speaking To The Herald, Deputy Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet (Presidential Communications) who is also the Presidential spokesperson, George Charamba, said President Mnangagwa was told by deputy health minister Dr John Mangwiro that his deputy needs time to recover.

Chiwenga returned to Zimbabwe this week after receiving treatment in South Africa together with his wife, Marry. Mangwiro travelled with the couple to South Africa. Said Charamba:

Dr Mangwiro told the President in very clear terms that the Vice President must be given sufficient time to rest and that he must keep away from the Office for a while.
