War Veterans Call For Presidential Age Limit To Be Raised From 40 to 52

The Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA) is calling for an amendment of the Constitution to raise the minimum Presidential age limit from 40 to 52. They say such a move will ensure that anyone who contests for the presidency is mature enough to fully grasp the gravity of what it means to run a country.

ZNLWA secretary general Victor Matemadanda called has also called for laws to deal with people who call for sanctions on the country or those accused of economic sabotage.
