Land Rover Discovery Vehicles Given To Ministers Not New, Govt To Purchase New Vehicles In 2019- Mutodi

Deputy Information minister Energy Mutodi told Daily News that the Land Rover Discovery vehicles given to Cabinet ministers were purchased before the July 30 polls.

Said Mutodi:

The vehicles you are referring to — that the ministers were given — are those that had not been allocated to anyone from the last Cabinet; so they have been there, parked. They are not newly-acquired as Treasury has made it clear that it will purchase new vehicles for ministers in the first quarter of 2019.
