Zimbabwe Youth Alliance President Magorimbo Issues With Warrant Of Arrest

President of the Zimbabwe Youth Alliance Kumbirai Learnmore Magorimbowho is believed to be one of the ring leaders of the of the MDC-T Alliance-instigated violence that rocked the country in January, was on Thursday issued with a warrant of arrest for absconding court.

Magorimbo is on $500 bail and charged with treason.

Magorimbo is accused of having used social media in January at the time of the January protests. The state says he sent WhatsApp messages on social media platforms urging workers not to go to work and encouraging civil disobedience or resistance of any law.
