CHAMISA: I'm Also Hurt By Sanctions And I Want Them Removed, But Reforms First
4 years ago
MDC President Nelson Chamisa has said that he’s also hurt by the sanctions and he also wants them to go but that reforms must happen first.
Chamisa was speaking to the MDC Women’s Assembly at an event to commemorate International Women’s Day in Chitungwiza on 8 March.
I am also hurt by these sanctions imposed on this country. I am saying sanctions must go but, for sanctions to go certain behaviour must go. America is saying for us to bail you out; Zimbabwe must be accountable and responsible.
FeedbackWe want sanctions to go but, we want all bad habits such as civilian killings, deploying soldiers in streets and unnecessary arrests of opposition members done away with.
