Mnangagwa Repeats Call For Sanctions Removal At Hero Burial
Speaking at the burial of the late National Hero, Emilio Munemo yesterday, President Emmerson Mnangagwa called on the removal of sanctions against Zimbabwe by the United States of America.
I am aware that as I make this exhortation, the American government has renewed sanctions against us. We call for the unconditional removal of the illegal, spiteful and completely unjustified sanctions on our country which continue to violate the basic human rights of our people.

The US recently renewed sanctions against Zimbabwe citing continued human rights abuses and a general non-departure from Robert Mugabe style politics.
