The Warriors Lose To Chipolopolo In The COSAFA Semis
COSAFA defending champions, Zimbabwe are now out of the tournament’s 2019 edition following a loss at the hands of Zambia on post-match penalties following a 0-0 draw at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
The Warriors were hoping to lift the cup for a third consecutive time. However, Tandi Mwape, Jack Chirwa, Mwila Phiri and Bruce Musakanya all flawlessly converted for Zambia.
Sadly, Khama Billiat’s penalty was saved by Zambia goalkeeper Sebastian Mwenge while Admiral Muskwe fired wide for Zimbabwe.
Zambia now faces Botswana in the final on June 8 in Durban.
