Zaka East MP Dies

The Zanu PF MP for Zaka East constituency passed on yesterday evening the Herald reports. Caston Ringisai Gumbwanda who was 67 was admitted at Corporate 24 where he was suffering from Pneumonia. Hon Gumbwanda had replaced Hon Samson Mukandiri who died last year.

His death was confirmed by Zanu PF provincial chair Mr Ezra Chidzamira:

I can confirm that we received reports that Cde Gumbwanda was admitted at Chiredzi Hospital after suffering from pneumonia.  He was then transferred to Harare where he died today . This is a big blow to us as a party and a big loss to the people of Masvingo province and Zimbabwe as a whole,
