ZANU PF Youth League To Embark On Phase Two In Fight Against Corruption
ZANU PF Youth League Deputy Secretary Lewis Matutu said that they will soon embark on the second phase of what he calls the fight against corruption. Matutu said this on microblogging site:
We’re closing into the second announcement as we embark on phase two of our fight against corruption, we will never stop until this evil is gone, this evil called corruption.
A few weeks ago, Matutu released a list of names, most of them being ZANU PF officials whom he said were engaged in economic sabotage.
He included Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe governor John Mangudya who has since demanded that the youth league retracts its statement.
Meanwhile, the ZANU PF politburo unanimously agreed that President Emmerson Mnangagwa should establish a commission of inquiry to investigate the corruption allegations levelled against the party bigwigs.
