"Mugabe's Positive Legacy Is His Role In Ending White Minority Rule" - DAVID COLTART
Former Education Minister, David Coltart has also extended his condolences to the Mugabe family following the passing on of Zimbabwe’s founding father, Robert Mugabe in the early hours of Friday.
The Treasurer General of the opposition MDC led by advocate Nelson Chamisa said:
Robert Gabriel Mugabe has died. My condolences are extended to his family and friends. He was a colossus on the Zimbabwean stage and his enduring positive legacy will be his role in ending white minority rule and expanding a quality education to all Zimbabweans.
FeedbackRegrettably the negative aspects of his legacy – violence, disrespect for the rule of law, corruption & abuse of power – live on in the new regime which overthrew him in the 2017 coup
Coltart later added that Mugabe’s enduring negative legacy will be the culture of violence and impunity, disrespect for constitutionalism and the rule of law, corruption and abuse of office under his tenure.
