ZANU PF Legislator Defies Party Orders
Zanu-PF vice chairman for Masvingo, Ailes Baloyi, told the Herald on Wednesday that suspended party legislator for Chivi South legislator, Killer Zivhu has continued to defy party orders.
Baloyi said that Zivhu was under surveillance. He said:
We are aware of Cde Zivhu’s defiance and the reports are being taken to the national executive. Every move that he is making is known and we are only waiting for the results of the national disciplinary committee.
FeedbackThe provincial committee had barred him from conducting any party and parliamentary business in his constituency pending the finalisation of his disciplinary hearing.
Zivhu was recently suspended for “abusing social media and for calling for a dialogue” between president Emmerson Mnangagwa and opposition MDC leader, advocate Nelson Chamisa.
Zivhu is said to have initiated the process of collecting signatures from people so that they support his dialogue initiative.
ZANU PF Masvingo has since written to the Politburo seeking the expulsion of Zivhu from the party over the above alleged “crimes”.
