Hwende's Passport Temporarily Released

The passport of opposition MDC secretary-general, Chalton Hwende has been temporarily released to enable him to travel to Kenya on government business.
Harare Magistrate released the passport of the legislator for Kuwadzana East on grounds that he intends to attend an ICT workshop in Kenya from October 6 to 10. The legislator is facing charges of inciting violence.
Hwende’s passport was ceased when he was arrested for allegedly inciting violence after he posted tweets which authorities said they had the capacity to people to revolt against a constitutional government.
He is among a number of Zimbabweans who have been arrested and charged with intending to dislodge a constitutionally established government.
