We Deserve To Be In The Final- de Jongh, As Bosso Storm Into Chibuku Finals

The Highlanders gaffer has said his team deserves to be in the finals after they floored ZPC Kariba yesterday. Speaking to the Chronicle the Dutchman reiterated that it didn’t matter they didn’t play that well, they deserve to be in the finals after the man of the moment Prince Dube delivered the winning goal.

de Jong said:

I’m very happy that we are in the final. It doesn’t matter that we didn’t play that good because what we wanted was to be in the final. We scored at the right time, at the perfect time.

We deserve to be in the final because we beat Dynamos away in the first round (1-0) and also beat FC Platinum (3-0) in the quarter-finals.

Highlanders have been having a tough season this year, however, despite the challenges, the Bulawayo giants seem to be making a phoenix comeback with the finals qualification a testimony to that.
