Buyanga's Ex-Girlfriend Approaches ED Over Child Custody

Frank Buyanga’s ex-girlfriend Chantelle Muteswa has approached the first family, president Emmerson  Mnangagwa and first lady Auxillia Mnangagwa over custody her minor child Daniel Sadiqi.

Muteswa is seeking the first family’s assistance in having the boy back after the High Court awarded Buyanga temporary guardianship in July saying that the 31-year-old mother had accommodation issues.

The development was confirmed by Muteswa’s lawyer, Munyaradzi Bwanya who told the Daily News at the weekend that the cases are still ongoing at the courts. He said:

As her lawyer, l have never met the first lady (Auxillia Mnangagwa), but l know (that) she independently wrote a letter to the president (Mnangagwa) and copied it to the first lady.

The cases are still on-going… and we are waiting for the outcomes. However, my client filed a separate police report at Avondale (police station) and copied the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (Zacc) after Buyanga took the child to South Africa (SA) without her consent, and a passport.

Muteswa and Buyanga have been fighting over the custody of the child since April and each of them has even sought to have the other imprisoned.
