NBS Non- Managerial Staff To Camp At The Bank's Premises As They Cant Afford To Commute To Work Anymore

The workers at National Building Society have taken the phrase industry action to a whole new level as they notified their bosses that they were incapacitated to commute to work every day hence they were going to camp with their families at the building society, Newsday reports.
A notice sent to the management reads in part:
In response to your email, NBS non-managerial staff met and the fact on the ground is that we are now incapacitated and are no longer able to go home and report back to work tomorrow (today) going forward.
FeedbackAs staff, we love our jobs and to fulfil that mandate, we thus need to stay at work and not go home so that we are ready to serve and do our duties tomorrow morning. We have also asked our family members to join us at the end of today (yesterday) so that we do not have problems at home and thus our family members will be joining us.
The economy has been deteriorating for some time and some employers can’t keep matching salaries to the current inflation rate which is going up exponentially.
