Portugal star, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick when his country won 6-0 against Lithuania in a UEFA Euro qualifiers Group B match played on Thursday.
A brace for the former Real Madrid 34-year-old forward against Luxembourg this Sunday means that he will be the second man to reach 100 international goals.
The Juventus striker’s ninth hat-trick for Portugal hat-trick takes him to within 11 goals of Iran legend Ali Daei’s world-record 109.
Meanwhile, a win for Portugal against Luxemburg will see Europe’s defending champions sealing a place at the next summer’s European Championship.
