Updated: Govt Renames Streets In Harare & Bulawayo

Cabinet has reportedly approved the renaming of several roads in Harare during a cabinet meeting held on Thursday.
This was revealed by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Ndavaningi Mangwana. Here are the new names:
NEW HARARE STREET NAMES:
- Enterprise Road – ED Mnangagwa
- Selous Avenue – John Landa Nkomo
- Cameron Street – Joseph Musika
- Kirkman Drive – Solomon Mujuru
- Livingstone Avenue – Oliver Tambo
- Charter Road – Fidel Castro
- Five Avenue – Leonid Brezhnev
- Angwa Street – Seretse Khama
- Baines Avenue – Herbert Ushewokunze
- Argyle Road – Sydney Malunga
- Dieppe Road – Vitalis Zvinavashe
- Rezende Street – Julia Zvobgo
- The Chase – Sikwili Moyo Street
- Blackstone Street – Joseph Culverwell
- Quendon Drive – Edison Zvobgo Drive
NEW BULAWAYO STREET NAMES:
- 6th Avenue – ED Mnangagwa
- 9th Avenue – SV Muzenda
- 4th Avenue – John Landa Nkomo
- 12th Avenue – Joseph Msika
- 5th Avenue – Maria Msika
- 10th Avenue – Nikita Mangena
- Fife Street – Queen Lozikeyi
- Collenbrander – Lookout Masuku
- Connaught Avenue – Cephas Cele
- 13th Avenue to include Anthony Taylor Ave – Clement Muchachi
- 14th Avenue – George Nyandoro
- Doncaster Road – Sikanjaya Muntanga
- Vic Falls Road – Mosi-Oa-Tunya Road
- 23rd Avenue – Jairos Jiri Avenue
- 11th Avenue – Daniel Madzimbamuto
